Mission San Xavier del Bac, sometimes called The White Dove of the Desert, is acclaimed as the finest example of mission architecture in the U.S., southwest of Tucson on Tohono O’odham Reservation. It's also still an active church today and a must see if you're ever in the Tucson area.
