My inspiration for this layout was the quote: Light makes photography. Embrace Light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know it. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography. – George Eastman
My text Reads: We wanted to catch the stars in the evening, so we brought our photography equipment to set up. The sunset did not disappoint, but there were forceful winds at the canyon's edge, so no star photos for us. Grand Canyon National Park. Font is Euphorigenic
Construction: I started with MonthReview Template Album No 7, page 19. I added ArtPlay Palette Swell Artsy Paper #3. After clipping my main photo to the fotoblendz layer of the template, I rearranged the frames and clipped one photo to three of the frames and another photo to the right side frame.
I added FotoGlows Star No 1 #7 over the main photo’s sun, brightening sunset glow.
I added various ArtPlay Palette Swell brushes, transfers and overlays to the background.
I placed the MultiMedia Frames No 3 #2 under the template frames, masking out areas I didn’t want to show, leaving just the rustic crumpled paper with its shadow at the bottom of the template’s frames.
I duplicated the template’s paper layer, flipped it vertically and placed it at the top left side of the main photo. In this area, I placed the wood word title “light” from Shine WordART Mix No1 (duplicated with blend mode Linear Light at 30% fill) and the MultiMedia Suns No 3 #2.
I duplicated the month template’s SEP with blend mode Linear Dodge to lighten it. I placed UrbanThreadz from the template and Knotted UrbanThreadz No 1 #1 over the top.
I used the ArtPlay Palette Swell Ribbon and Twig for the cluster. I added Beach WordART Mix No 1 Underlined Words #1, “happy. lucky. Today. remember”, to finish the layout.
