Journaling reads: After felling this Virginia pine tree, Mark cut it into 5 eight foot sections. He got 6 or 7 eight inch boards out of one section. I love the knots showing in the grain of the wood! It is going to take a lot more than just this one tree to cover the 12 x 16 foot cabin. 12/12/22

This is really cool! DIY lumbermaking! What a beautiful finished project you will have. Nice use of that woody tree at lower right to complement the theme!
