Inspiration – Mini Lagoon had nice soft green colors so thought it went well with this winter photo taken on a dark day at Lake Chocorua.
Start – File>New 12x12 300
Paper – Placed Solid Paper4 above the background layer
Photo I placed the photo o the Left edge and blended the other three edges. Duplicated the layer and set blend mode to screen
Transfers – Placed the Artsy Transfer over the photo and on the left edge.
Elements – Put the dolly over the part of the photo that shows to the right of the transfer and added a mask it after grouping the two layers. Masked away some of the dolly. Start a little cluster with the heart, string foliage, and word strip. I changed to color of the word strip to match the photo.
Words added the word art “All is calm”: for a title.
Brush – I used Several brushes around the art to give a white wintery look.
I did a little finishing up by adding drop shadows where appropriate and adjusting others.
