Challenge #1 Nov 2022 - Mom 1946
I have had 3 wonderful mothers – my Mother (Momma, who is still living), my stepmother (Mom), and my Mother-in-Law (Grammy). This picture of Mom is so beautiful and rather unexpected. I always knew her as a blonde. NOT! At 16 she was almost as dark headed as me! Mom was a definite PINK person. She tried to convert me but failed. She was a die-hard Bingo fan. That I could run with but never played like she did. I didn’t win nearly the money she won, either, but then she was the gambler not me. And she was a professional seamstress, drapery maker, and doll clothes manufacturer )mostly for antique or antique-style dolls). I loved her dearly and miss her still, although she left us in 2015 at the age of 85. She was beautiful and chic until the very end.

For the background I used paper no 6, placed the page mask from the kit over it and clipped paper 09 to the mask. Then, I added the photo, elements and brushes behind and over, title, caption on tag, and done. Vicki makes it so easy!

What a treasure that photo is! Love the framing with the clusters on either side. Love that you honored her memory with the bingo card in the background and the pinks. Beautifully done!
