Journaling reads: Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, right?! Today’s beauty lies in the taste of the pies I baked...not in the looks of the pies! Of course, the Cool Whip may have helped a little, too! The bottom oven element messed up and Mark said the top element had to make up for the difference and that is why the tops of the pies were burned! The insides of the pies tasted just fine!
