Journaling Reads: This is the quilt that I made for my Father-in-law, Brian. It was my first Mariner's Compass, but I cheated! I used the Quilt Smart Kit. It was easy to piece, but it took about eight months to hand quilt. This is made entirely with Hoffman Batiks and was started on June 25, 2006. I finished it June 16, 2007.
