Text Reads: Autumn brings change and Halloween Trick or Treat

Construction: I started with the a 12x12 layered template by Katie Pertiet Designs, Photo Strips Scrap Pack 13 #1. I used Anna Aspnes ArtPlay Palette Monster Treats Solid Paper #3 for the background (black). I then took and duplicated the template’s paint layers and used different blending modes.
I clipped my combined photo to the template’s 3 photo mask layers (I had extracted 2 scenes from my photo, added drop shadows and overlaid a texture with Soft Light Blending. Texture is Syndee Rogers_Scrap Simple Paper AlteredAr -V1-1b). I used De Novo FotoBlendz No. 1 #2 under the template photo layer in the middle, clipping the same photo, softening the edges of the template. I added Fall Word Transfers No. 1 ColorC to the right photo in color burn blend mode and reduced the opacity to 30%.v

For the Cluster, I added the ArtPlay Palette Luster Tag, clipping ArtPlay Palette Monster Treats Solid Paper #7 with blend mode Linear Burn for color change. I added ArtPlay Palette Monster Treats Dipped Flower w/Spider and ArtPlay Palette Luster Berries-Twig. I added WetFish Designs (Etsy) Halloween Tag #1-7 skeleton to the tag in white and black (removed the background). I revised the template’s cluster by removing a pumpkin and paper.
Under the cluster I added Fall Word Transfers No 1 AutumnB in blend mode Lighten.
I added ArtPlay Palette Monster Treats Spider #2 to the center and extracted the spider from Monster Treats Dipped Flower w/Spider, flipping and placing on the hay bale to the right.
I finished with Halloween WordART No 2 #6 “Trick Or Treat” in white with the black version acting as an offset shadow.
