On our last day we finally got a sunny morning, but there was quite a bit of fog over the water. The cranes stayed long after the sun was up and less than half had flown off to the fields by the time we left the refuge. The sunrise was beautiful but it was about 31F and our fingers got too cold to snap the photos.

Sure did work to get in all the photos! Love the crop of the big photo. Don't like thinking about the cold fingers though.
