Big Buck, in the Yard! - APP Caducous

Pretty sure I've solved the mystery of who's been eating my hydrangeas. This buck walked right through the back yard while we were eating dinner, chomping on the only green grass in the yard. He must be really hungry.

I started with solid paper, added fotoblendz and clipped my photo to the mask. Grouped and duplicated, lower copy on Color Burn, upper copy on Normal blending mode. Embellished with transfers, overlays, paint, glows, multimedia, leaf sprinklez, ScriptTease Fall Overlay 3-1 (adj. hue to dark brown and blending mode Soft Light), title, and journaling. The bottom left corner was bare, so I added the hydrangea picture using one small frame from the Artsy Layered Template, rotating and adjusting the shadow. Photo was adjusted to B&W with a sepia photo filter.

Great photo of the buck! We have a herd of 25 that stroll through the field and often visit my gardens too. Love the warm yellows, oranges and browns! Beautiful!

Love the warm colours. Sorry about your hydrangeas but that is a superb animal - fabulous image of him!!

Awesome layout and enjoying the bright yellow light. And wow! Magnificent is right! But your poor defoliated hydrangea--ours got walloped in the spring, but by the bands of roving fawns who eat everything (even bee balm, nothing eats bee balm). We've had good luck with scattering Milorganite around every so often, and a little goes a long way. (Deer-resistant spray too, on the hydrangeas.) Hope yours comes back.

thanks for the info, I'll have to try. I figure they might come back, but without blooms at least next year, which is not a catastrophe, I don't fertilize enough to get many blooms any way.
