Not to bring anyone spirits down for the holiday, but Melissa's designs are so elegant they fit well with the page i wanted to do for my husband. Please pray with us as my husband fights Lymphoma cancer. And thank you to all who think and pray with us!

Journaling reads:
How quickly life can change on you.
You can go about your normal day activities
and even be thinking how you wish you were doing something else,
and you get a phone call from a loved one saying that the doctor has finally found what is causing all of their pain and suffering.
And at that point you could feel relief for that person.
Until you hear that dreaded word.
That one word that you never ever thought you would have to hear from someone who is so strong and resilient,
and fights everything to the death. When you hear that word,
you never think it could REALLY happen to you or someone you love, you just think that you are fortunate and simply pray for others that go through it and the loved ones who go through it with them.
The day i heard that word, my heart just sank.
Deep in my chest and i hurt. I hurt for him.
I still thought it was like being in a movie.
As the doctors continued to talk about symptoms, treatment, required tests and surgeries,
It all went so fast like you were watching someone else go through it on TV or something. It didnt feel real.
The tests and surgeries are now off to get results and as we sit waiting, you are in pain. You are not well, and i hurt as much as you.
I promise i will be next to you through this, and i promise
to do everything in my power to make sure you
are well again. So many people are praying and
hoping the very same thing.
I dont know what the days, months, or even years will be like for us, but they will be different.
We will grow stronger, be healthier, and remember and cherish
what is truly important in our lives.
Not our jobs, not our home, not our possessions, but
each other and our family and friends.
Every night i will say this prayer for you.
Dear Lord, I ask you give this man your strength and put his mind
at peace to let his body heal. Be with him when he is afraid, and
put a sense of serenity and calm in his heart. I pray you
watch over him on this new journey in his life,
and be with him in his most
dire moments.
Amen.
