The Sea - Travel Project 2022

This is my page 12 & 13 of my Travel Project 2022 Album.
Text Reads: We kicked off our week vacation by staying on the Oregon coast for a couple of days. The first day was definitely wet. As we traveled inland, it got nicer, but it was drizzly again as we went south. Our second day was much more to our liking. The cameras came out for some serious photography. The nesting Brandt's Cormorant on the rocks was a highlight. We had lots of fun photographing the sea birds around the hotel. The seagulls were such hams. Not camera shy at all. The real test of our novice bird photography was getting clear photos.
Seaside had some great places to eat and stay. Our hotel room balcony overlooked the Promenade. We saw bubbles floating everywhere and had no clue where they were coming from until a person appeared with gigantic wands creating them. So fun!

Construction: I started with the WaterColor Template Album No. 10 #12 on the left side. I clipped the lighthouse photo to the fotoblendz. I then swapped out the frames with the Travel Template Album No. 6 #15 frames.
For the right side I used Travel Template Album 6 #11, clipping the beach photo to the fotoblendz.
The background paper is ArtPlay Palette Scenic Solid Paper #3. I used various transfers from the Scenic Template Album No. 6 #19, ArtsyTransfers Surfs Up and SkyTransfers No. 1 to enhance the sky and the sea. I added birds from Take Flight No. 2 #10 and enhanced the lighthouse light with FotoGlows No. 4 #6.
I made a custom postage stamp from postage overlay in Travel Template Album No. 6 #11
I used the Wood Word “Sea” from Beach WordART Mix No. 3, recoloring slightly and placing an orange button from ArtPlay Palette GlobeTrotter behind the “e” for more color.
For the right cluster, I used MultiMedia Branches No. 13 #1, recoloring the flowers and adding fotoglows.
The text is Baskerville Old Face. All photos are mine or my husband’s.

Love the lighthouse, the blended photo of the people on the beach, and the fabulous extraction of the bird.
