I was filled with despair upon learning about the 10 year rape victim who was forced to travel to another state to receive medical care. What has happened to our country where children must tragically suffer instead of being provided necessary healthcare? Has cruelty become the norm? I hope not. But then I remembered that I must help in every way I can. I've upped my monthly donations and am looking into several volunteer programs. I refuse to live in a country that denies CHILDREN and women the right to their own healthcare.
