Challenge #7: Hermits Peak Fire

We saw smoke at the top of Raton Pass entering New Mexico. Farther south the smoke was dense. By the 21st of May, extreme weather had taken over the US. We had snow, the east coast had a stifling heat wave, and the Hermits Peak fire had become the largest in the state's history.

Use-It-All kit created just for the challenge, and nothing else except resizing, recoloring and repetition of elements. And I created a photo mat from the negative space of the scissor-cut element.

I love how you made the photo mat out of the cut paper! Love that mini page with the gray background in the middle of the layout. It fits the theme of the fires.

Thank you so much for joining the challenge! Love how you recolored to make this work with your photo! This is amazing!

Love that cutout of from the photo and that you changed its orientation a bit. Always love lots of orange, red, and yellow (though, the fire aspect is very unfortunate. I expect it will be another terrible fire season).
