Oh, how wonderful. I live in a third-story apartment, bird feeders are not allowed, but some house wrens have nested next to my balcony. I love, love, love hearing them in the mornings and evenings. My son has a big yard (garden) with many bird feeders so I spend as much time there as I can just to enjoy the vast array of bird visitors he has.

I don't feed the birds here as it gets messy and we have a Coopers Hawk that visits and likes to "pick off" the smaller birds.. he got a robin one day and a cardinal another and then I don't know what the 3rd time.. He so nicely ate his "lunch" in my backyard many times, so if I feed the birds, it is giving him a helping hand
