Nature is Genius

Journaling reads: I couldn’t believe this butterfly actually climbed up onto my hand. It is Limenitis arthemis and is a butterfly species in the tribe Limenitidini of the family Nymphalidae. The Limenitidini are a tribe of the better known "brush-footed butterflies", as they are known to perch on hindlegs, whereas the other two forelegs are positioned curled up. These two forelegs often have brush-like hairs, which is a key identifier of the Nymphalidae.

I changed the color of the butterfly elements and some of the transfers and overlays so they would coordinate with my page.

Gorgeous layout and photos. Loved reading your journal. That must have been a great feeling and it certainly doesn't happen often.

Beautiful butterfly and lucky you! Thank you for including the nature lesson about butterflies.
