re the layout:
Background paper created by the following: papers- mmp 06 blend mode = normal, then mmp 06 made smaller to make polaroid spot smaller blend mode = normal, I added a square fill layer same size as opening in polaroid to clip my photo to. then mmp 09 with square mask at photo area. Then I added mmp 01 blend mode = lighten.. all papers fill & opacity = 100%... then I desaturated mmp03b for gray wood to match the fence in my photo. I clipped that paper and added shadow to rectangular filled shapes at the top and bottom.
