Challenge #1: Porcupine Rim

We took Sand Flats Road and had it to ourselves, We poked along very slowly through one steep slick stretch of snow with a big dropoff, but continued on until we ran out of golden light and the road was heading away from the creek. I made a video of the wide view at the overlook.

There was a ridge of sunlight on distant rocks, but it was different and a joy, when the sun finally & suddenly popped into view as we rounded a curve.
There was a very light dusting of snow on the Jeep in the morning, and I was happy I was able to capture diamond sparkles when the sun was just right.
Our last stop was an overlook at the source of Rill Creek, but it was completely dry.

Great Travel page! I almost think I've gone there after reading your page. Love the lines that draw my eye around the page to the photos and journaling.

Love how you placed the map behind the photos. Beautiful journaling to go with these beautiful photos. Definitely looks like a fun time.
