Process
An artsy paper from APP Remembrance was used as the foundation of the page. The photo (a very old 35mm slide was scanned and color corrected using the levels adjustment) was clipped to a fotoblendz mask. The photo was duplicated and then changed to black and white. A layer mask was added. Using a hard black brush the image of the graduated was erased, allowing the colored bottom layer to show through. MultiMedia elements were added, along with a paper texture and splatters. The page was completed by adding word art and more dimensional embellishments.
