Inspiration – I was interested in the gold colors of the palette and went searching in my photos taken in the various years in December. I thought these worked well. I guess my eye is drawn to the lighthouses right now because they will be the subject of my aA Project 2021.
Start – Create new file File>New 12x12x300
Paper -Placed Solid Paper 1 over the background layer.
Frame – Used MM Frame 5.4
Transfer – Added Artsy Transfer 5 to the page above the frame and on the left edge. Used Paper overlay from APP Ambages below the Artsy Transfer but inverted the color.
Photos – Added one photo to the mask layer of the frame using Layer>Create Clipping Mask. I grouped a few of the layers including the dollie layer and attached the other photo in the same manner.
Elements – Placed the poinsettia and gold berries between the photos, and then made two copies of the pine cone and arranged to the left of the photo on the transfer and added the evergreens underneath.
Brush – Christmas Nostalgia 2.7 above the Artsy Transfer in white.
Words – used two word transfers to help contain the photo on the Artsy transfer. The words Glad and This were used with typed word For as the title.
