El Santuario de Chimayo

We took the High Road to Taos and got to Santuario de Chimayo right at sunrise but there was a mountain just to the east and it would be hours before the sun would brighten the church yard. It turned out the church I remembered wasn't this one anyway, so maybe we'll visit Taos next year.

I love how you've included your photobook as well as loose photos and your camera and other art supplies - very effective!

I do not have fond memories of Taos (just the opposite) ... but your pages are lovely and give the place the artistic flare it is known for.

Thanks. We've been treated well in Taos, & sad to hear you weren't.

Love the painterly page with all the accompaniments and the inclusion of a camera and photo that lent itself to the artwork

Definitely a different--and intriguing--perspective. A story within a story within a story....

Beautiful! I love the effect of the still life! Works beautifully with the journal, photos, camera, and paint!
