I love playing with paint and gesso but I also love anything spooky. This challenge gave me the opportunity to do both.

I started making the scene first by blending a resized paper with the girl's face over the outdoor one using Lighter Color Blend Mode. After I added the books, bottle, and candlestick, I reduced the vibrance, saturation, and opacity. I used several of Florju's gesso bushes to add additional textures to the page. For one brush I added the script layer style.
