"All About Me" Project Day 1 Birthday

My entire approach to digital scrapping is essentially "all about me", so for this ALL ABOUT ME project I will continue this approach, using the prompts as guidance. For Day 1, Birthday, this page is about Oz on his 8 month birthday. I wrapped a random toy in tissue paper and boy did he have fun with it (the tissue paper that is, he didn't notice the toy until much later).

I love the photo on the right, even though blurry. That's his arm throwing the tissue paper around. Blended this with Bountiful Photo Blendz, on a Bountiful background on which I added dots (very very old Anna Aspnes product) to match his shirt.
Photos on the left clipped to frames from PhotoInspired 2T.
Added all the dotted ribbons, bows and hearts I could find, maintaining visual triangles.

Love your pages for Day 1 of the challenge, Diane. Fun idea to wrap a random toy in tissue paper. Your work with the black/white elements is really nice!

Loving the interplay of the big blendy photo on the right with the snapshots on the left. I know what you mean about the storytelling--it's all about that for me, too.

I'm glad Oz has continued the tradition of babies and toddlers everywhere by enjoying the packaging as much as the toy. :D I love the happy looks on his face. I also love how you put this together: beautiful blending and I especially like the strong blue with the dotted ribbons.
