New Chapter

A page for my daughter's “Not Married, Thanks Covid” wedding album, documenting life leading up to the big day. And it's been a busy life for the happy couple. This page is about hiring the first employee for Cave Glow Studio, their small-batch candle-making business. Anthropologie just placed a substantial order, so you know many hands are needed on deck.

I chose this template because sometimes I like to use the heirloom digital assets, and it worked really well with the orientation of my photos. All of my family pages have color coordination issues, which is why I chose the Ikigai APP for its blue and then the MM flowers to relate to the green in the grass. (NOTE: the bird element is available in the bonus pack that accompanies the Ikigai Collection, available only until August 13.) I also added some yellow brushwork to complement the wheelbarrow full of beeswax, then added a golden gradient to the page.

Oh, wow! Can anything be more exciting than their first order from Anthropologie? Love that the beeswax is in the wheelbarrow, and the bird is singing with joy for you all.
