Inspiration – some photos of Iceland my boss sent me on her recent trip there. I liked the Palette Fernwah but not the colors. So I edited several things.
Start – Create a new page – File>New
Paper – Placed Artsy paper 2 on the page but after I placed the photos I decided to change the color. SO I used Ctrl>U and then went through the colors rather than using the Master. I played until I found the colors I wanted.
Frames – I copied the frames from the Artsy Layered Template 272 onto my page. I clicked on the layers for frames 1 and 2 and rotated to a Landscape position.
Photos- added photos to frames 1 and 4 using Layer>Create Clipping Layer
Transfers – I added the jpeg version of Artsy Transfer 1 to frame 4 using Layer>Create Clipping Layer then I used Ctrl>I to invert the colors. I also used Ctrl>L to lighten the transfer a little. Next, I added Artsy transfer 3 to frame 4. I then used Ctrl>U to adjust the colors a little. I liked the way the transfers looked like photos.
Elements – Multimedia Branches 10.3 over the photos but replaced the paper boat with a butterfly.
Brush – I used a brush from Take flight 3 in blue placed in the sky.
Title – Used the wood words GO TRAVEL But once again used Ctrl>U to switch up the colors. I also added a drop shadow.
