I have been living in Paris for almost 7 years and I cannot imagine living anywhere else in the world now!
I would be lost...
Why do I love Paris?
First because of all the facilities available: cinemas, restaurants, museums, theaters, exhibitions, concerts...
There's always something going on, to see or to visit.
Second, you don't need to have a car: metro, bus, and soon bicycles, you can go everywhere very easily and quickly and take the time for some reading.
Third, the architecture of the town: so many different styles from Haussmann to Guimard, ancient or modern, stone or brick, public gardens, cobbles. I always enjoy walking through the streets and watching the buildings.
And above all, I love the area where I live: I have some nice neighbours, some friends near home, my baker knows me by name, I have a nice market every Wednesday and Saturday, and I can walk to the great Pere Lachaise cemetary, it is only 10 minutes from home!
