Love the old advertisements! Amazing how much the cost of things have gone up. But to think about it, back in 1970 I made less than $2.00/hour! My husband and I lived on a shoe string. I made my kids clothes. Great take on the color challenge!

Those ads are wonderful! 1970s doesn't seem that long ago to me, hard to believe whole outfits could be bought for less than the cost of a coffee today! Nice take on the challenge, love your use of elements!

What a great find! Those prices are hard to believe. I remember a time when I used to buy "tough skins" (jeans) for my brother at Sears. There was a lifetime guarantee! Wonderful take on the challenge. Love that you used scans of some of the ads and gave the page a vintage sewing feel. Super take on the challenge.

Love those old ads that you built your page around. What a find! Love the monochromatic color and the use of scrabble tiles for your WA. Isn't it fun how styles that have been come around again!

Oh, yes! I bought "tough skins" for my boys, too. :) Thank goodness for the guarantee!

Wonderful take on the color challenge. I'm drawn to the fragile papers and their dimension. Also love the sign with the wire hangar.
