Wow, this is stunning and so eye-catching. The upside-down-ness and b/w treatment of the photo grabbed me immediately, suggesting a deeper story. When I read the journaling, the tear faucet went on. Sensitive, emotional, and beautiful work, and I hope maybe a bit healing, too.

A beautiful, heartfelt tribute. Love the use of the butterfly masking and they way you positioned the photo upside down because, really, there is nothing right about this loss.
