I remember touring the White House. What struck me was why do they call the Blue Room blue since the walls were white?

Washington DC was one of the families go to places for outings. From visiting the museums and historical buildings to seeing the cherry blossoms there was always something to see. Both Grandma Gilchrest and Grandma Schindler came to visit, and we went to Washington DC.
