During the worst winter storm in a decade two Texas senators were nowhere to be found. Ted Cruz tried to slink away to Cancun until he was publicly shamed and returned. John Cornyn was not seen in the state, he was rumored to be golfing with Trump in Florida. Shameful!
Great page! You've got to wonder what they were thinking. No way this would stay quiet. How on earth did they think their actions would garner positive reaction from the people of the Texas.
What a terrible story. Now wonder it stayed in the news cycle longer than most. Great page! And Austin took it hard. I'm hoping it opens some people's eyes about what these guys' priorities are. It's not just him. The Dem Mayor of Denver danced off on a plane at Thanksgiving and tweeted everybody should stay home while in the airport.
What a sorry state of affairs, but you've captured it brilliantly! Question is, will people learn from these things? I hope so, for your sake and for the people of Texas.
