Our last stop in California before driving east was a visit with the Schindlers, Herb, Judy, James, Kevin, & Jerry. They lived in Mokelumne Hill on a small ranch. The horse's name was Patches. John and I had a great time riding. On the other hand, Paul was not happy. In every photograph of him, he is pouting or crying.
