I did this one in memory of my grandmother. She used to tell me how, as she aged, she felt her body fading away but when she closed her eyes, in her head, she still felt like a young girl.

The image is stock. I extracted it, then layered over a night sky background that I created. I will look for the link, but I did a tutorial for this. I added the paper textures over the clothing. Using a tablet (giving that a try) I created the white lines. They were done in black and then set to Divide (blending mode). I tried to soften the left side while keeping the right side sharper.

Thank you. I understand this as I get older. At the time, I didn't want to dwell too much on conversations that ended with her not being in my life anymore.
