I started with a black and white portrait and extracted the woman. Blended her over the ArtsyKardz. Then kept blending her and things over her until I was done. There are many, many composites (CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + e) that are either partially blended or fully blended over the original. It feels kind of like sculpture ... where you start with a lump of something and keep adding and taking away until it's no longer a lump.
