Today is the farewell service.
In the morning I go for a walk, get some fresh air.
And in the forest the tears will come naturally.
I miss my own mother, and then the grief of my husband who lost both his parents in 6 weeks time ...
It was a very nice service, many photos, many letters from the children and grandchildren. And because my husband could not be at his father's deathbed, he was allowed to carry the urn to the grave.
This was very important to him because not being able to say goodbye to his father was very difficult for him.
You accept the fact that the body no longer wants to become 86. Only not being able to say goodbye makes grief so difficult.
