I wake up early from a message on my mobile phone, wtih small good news. My father-in-law is a bit more stable but still not out of danger. They suspect that he had a brain haemorrhage, but today he was approachable and has already eaten a little.
We can see him through video chat, a very emotional moment because we don't know if he will get through and if we can ever hold him again. So awful that nasty covid virus. So much grief, fear and insecurity in all the people who have already lost someone to Covid.
We can only hope he gets through.
