While baking bread with Grandma this holiday, it was fun to listen to her memories of Christmas pasts. She remembers going to Midnight Mass while her brothers and father stayed home. They would get a Christmas tree from the orchard. It would be placed on the table, so tall it almost touched the ceiling. All of the 13 children would stand around and admire the tree decorated with candles lit only early Christmas morning. She remembers getting a sleepy heady dolly as a gift.
