As I meandered on the road through the woods I was amazed at the sights and the sounds I witnessed. Acorns were falling from the trees. Birds were calling out a warning as I walked through their territory. The wind was rustling the leaves of the trees, causing more to fall to the ground. A woodpecker was drilling on a tree. Squirrels were chasing and running. And this squirrel was enjoying a late afternoon snack. So much activity, and yet so peaceful!
