Is anybody else feeling a creative lull? These days I just want to do my documentation in the quickest way possible and get on with it. Thank goodness for templates. In this case, I added to the Kindred template by pulling in a large Fotoblendz from the new Scenic Template album, and all of a sudden I was off and running. The background is a layering of artsy papers: #3 over #3 over #1 on multiply and overlay blending modes. I used the Artsy Transfers (#2, #3) to add color and dimension to both the background and foreground. After journaling and embellishing, I finished with a gold gradient layer at 44% opacity on color burn blending mode.

Wow, it's wonderful and such a fantastic gift. Great photos of it, too. Love how you adapted the template and placed the title.

Amazing, it looks incredible!! Those photos are ad-worthy, as is the knitting job! (Had to laugh at the broomsticks comment, although that might be a welcome change from the size 3's sweater that will never end!) Great use of the template and the central focus is great!

I am impressed with your skills also. What a fantastic gift. I do have creative lulls and work hard to snap out of it. Great use of the template.

WOW what a great gift! The sweater is gorgeous! I love the effect of the wool and big needles - looks warm - love all the close ups of the sweater - gorgeous!

You aren't in a creative lullyou're producing magnificent and warm clothing! I'm amazed at your talent! It's been kinda chilly in Texashint, hint, hint! LOL.

It's lovely and looks so warm and snugly. I agree with Christy, this doesn't look like a creative lull to me. You are very creative.
