PhotosI took a picture of a maple leave on the tar by my house and extracted it using Object Selection Tool. You just draw a rectangle around the object and PS does most of the work. I just had to clean uo with the eraser tool little bits. I added a drop shadow using Layer>Layer style. But then I clicked on the fx and moved it to it's own layer. Then I used Cntrl>T and right clicked inside the box and selected warp so I could pull part of the shadow out further to make it looked popped up.
Paper Placed Solid Paper 1 above the background layer.
Brushes I placed Brush 1 and 2 above and to the side to give an diagonal look. Then later I added Brush 16 from APP Embers to the page below the title.
Element- I choose Charm and branch element and laid it over the leave stem. The I put the ribbon below but then I right clicked on the layer of the ribbon and used select pixels. Then clicking on one of the branches I erased where it went over the ribbon so the ribbon would appear on top here. Did the same with the shadow.
