2020 has been a challenging year for so many. Being in the vulnerable age group for COVID, I was having a tough time with the lockdown. But, I decided rather than allowing it to dominate my life, I would find another solution to the long lonely days. Due to a lot of tragedy in my life, including my precious husband's death, Id basically given up on pursuing my passion for photography and other creative endeavors. It had been years since I had looked forward to or enjoyed the fall season since my husband passed in early October. But, this year seemed different somehow, like I had moved past another morbid grieving outlook towards the coming new season. So, I dusted off my camera and began shooting again. Being out in nature made the worlds woes, and my problems seem a little less complicated and painful. While processing and filing my new photos, I ran across some of my old digital scrapbook graphics, which I created and sold in online shops for over ten years. With no desire to create graphics again, I did consider designing layouts to document this very unusual year. It has been such a joy to be back in the digi scrap community once again, catching up with former friends and meeting new ones. Life is indeed what we make of it.
