A page about a museum for a travel photobook documenting last September's travels to six national parks.

The text reads: "The Whyte Museum is essentially a vanity project: Two wealthy students meet at the Boston Museum School of Fine Art, migrate to Banff, and open a venue to feature their landscape paintings (which felt more polite than powerful to us). But the special exhibitions and historical artifacts were something else again. I fell in love with the Japanese display, especially the miniature storefronts collected by Mrs. Whytes grandfather. The detail was mesmerizing, complete with shoji screens. Shown here: a china shop, Japanese kitchen, insect vendor, and musical instrument shop, all 1870-1890."

I started with the template, moving the masks/frames around to suit my photos. I added the backgroundEmbers Artsy Papers 3 over 4 on color burn blend mode. The Threadz came nextI recolored some of the beads with hue/saturation layers to match the colors in a photo. Because I had only four photos, I was really glad for the Embers Artsy Kardz to fill in the blanks and add some texture/color to the page. I finished up with my journaling, the title, and some blue stains to match the recolored beads.
Beautiful page. I like this "deviation" from the FI Template. And the colors with the white popping off the dark background.

Wow great use of the template the contrast between the dark background and the color of the pictures is fantastic !

wow the detail is amazing! I love these templates! awesome with bit of turquoise - gorgeous!

belle utilisation du modle, toutes ces petites vitrines semblent fascinantes, j'aime les touches de turquoise.

Love the color palette and store front details! We must have missed this museum when we were in Banff. We went to a natural history museum by the tracks. Would have enjoyed this!

These are amazing! Thank you for sharing! Perfect for the Ember color scheme!
