this is awesome, in that dark, ironic way that we have with art to transform horrible, ugly things into beautiful art pieces.... I have to confess, I wanted to GSO this, but was wrestling with words for over half hour and nothing sounded the way I should sound.... maybe because I am not English native speaker, maybe because I am old and skeptical and have almost lost hope in the electoral systems all over the world..... but I thought I just tell you how much I love this, your pages are always a GSO, this gets my heart
It is likely the darkest Independence Day in my memory, so many terrible things happening, many in my own city. one can't help attributing this to our country's leadership and the great divide which occurred with the election of a (can't find publicly acceptable words). But it is still a great country and if we can turn the corner on this come November...we must keep faith and hope! BTW great art which has evoked such strong emotions and responses!
Beautiful. Dramatic. And true, so true. And it's not just the justice department and the AG, it's also the divisiveness of Americans, the economy, and of course the pandemic. I woke up today, July 4th, to a news story about the new messaging expected to come out of the White house in the next days about the pandemic. Apparently the policy is going to be "learn to live with it." Yes, vote.
