Inspiration - A photo I took when on a ride this week.
Start -Started with a new document
Paper- I used Solid Paper 2 and put it above the background layer
Mask - I am a lazy scrapper and if there is a frame of mask that works with my photo I will go that way. This time I choose FotoBlend Overlay 7.2. Now this has some flat edges that didn't work out for the way I wanted to work with my design so I used the eraser tool to remove the straight edges except along the top and then I used a brush to strengthen the mask to be sure my photograph of the car stood out.
Photos - I placed the photo above the mask . I sized it and attached it to mask using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Artsy Layered Transfer- I selected No 2 and placed it in the lower left edge ,
Transfer - I use Transfer 4 on the right edge matching the stains that were the same on the paper.
Elements - I used the butterfly duplicated and the Postage stamp hopefully forming a visual triangle, and the word strip "a diamond in the rough" which I applied Ctrl I to invert the colors and changed the blend mode to Color Dodge.
Brushes- I placed two of these quotes on the page again using Crl I to invert the colors. Also I placed a Taped texture over the car edge.
Title - I typed the words One More Mile for the title.
I am with you on the straight edges. The soft edges appeal to me as does the blending of various transfers.

what a fantastic photo. love your blending and colours and the added lace and butterflies. beautiful page.

What a great photo! You showed it off well with all your blending. I really like the dimension effect of the lace.
