We had seen so many tents in dispersed campsites along Clear Creek Canyon the campers were mostly long gone after the storm except for hard sided campers. We were glad we had decided to stay at the hotel in town, and felt so fortunate to enjoy the nice weather the next day.
P.S. In Google Maps, 3904'33.6"N 10617'04.5"W puts you on the road to Twin lakes with a snow-capped mountain to the west and the lakes on your left. Some nice scenic views if you have the time and you're in the mood for a Sunday drive.
