Back in March I had made the page on the left using an Artsy Layered Template (https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=426602&title=grand-teton&cat=all ) and then pretty much put my new travel book down. Now that I'm back at it again, I decided to make the page into a spread, so added a FotoInspired page on the right to fill in the details, using the Ordinaire APP, which I had used on the previous page. I also modified that page with some chunky type. It's an interesting place, Mormon Row...an abandoned settlement in Grand Teton National Park...homesteaders were sent out from the Salt Lake area by Church leaders as population increased. It was all pretty much abandoned by the late 1800s. The remaining farmsteads are stark and beautiful, and reminded me in a way of Icelandic landscapes, where you also get lone buildings against a backdrop of mountains.
