I think of photo compositing as combining photos in a realistic or surrealistic way and the composite is a photo. When I use fotoblending techniques and .png elements for me they don't count. But that comes from my training which doesn't have to match anyone else's. So here I rendered a fractal image that would span two pages, and composited the seedling with the soil to make it work with the flavor of my book.

We looked forward to planting the canna lilies in pots when it got a little warmer, and visiting Gulley's Greenhouse for some other annuals.
