Inspiration -The bonus challenge in the FB aA Connect. This challenge is to create a layout about a vacation you have taken or would like to take! Mine is the Smoky Mountains.
Started - started with a new document
Frames - I used Corner Slit Frames 2 and 3. This corner slit frames are a wonderful addition to my stash.
Photos - I attached the photos to each of the frames using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Papers -I choose Bouns ArtsyPaper 5 placing it above the background layer.
MultiMedia - I picked MultiMedia Flower 8.1 and placed it above the portrait orientated frame.
Elements - I chose the Button Wood Heart in the corner created between the frames and added a drop shadow. Then I placed the String above the heart.
Brush - I picked Brush 15 and put it to the right of the pictures. I used blue and changed the Blend Mode to Linear Burn and the Opacity to 60%.
Transfers - Placed the Transfer 3 below the wooden heart and with Ctrl U I changed the color to green. I had three hearts to create a visual triangle. I then put Transfer 1 in the lower right hand corner. This gave me a visual triangle with the color green.
Title - Used Wood words "The" and " View" for title. I love these wood words because they are usually single words that I can combine into the title I want.
Journaling - Wrote about the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.
