As a little girl growing up in the 1950's I can still remember my mother shampooing my hair and rolling it onto strips of cloth to make it curly and pretty.

I have heard of this but never had it done to my hair as I had very short hair it was a good way of making ringlets today they pay a fortune to have some curls now ...love the photos and the journaling tfs.
