Thank you for the challenge Marnie. Some Art Journaling with some thoughts of the moment.

Be Still (wait).maybe your Be Still is to remain in shelter. Maybe your Be Still requires you to be an essential worker. All of our Be Still is very different and often very unsettling.

The word wait means to rest, to stay in one place, to Be Still. Why is that so hard? It sort of sounds like a vacation to me! So why is it so difficult to do? The reason is simple. We like to be in control. We like to set the clock for when things should happen. The problem is not in the waiting; the problem is whether we really trust God in the times of waiting. We worry and wonder, has HE forgotten me? Has HE moved on and forgotten me here.

Even though your situation feels motionless, God isnt! He working behind the scenes, moving people and things into positon for your good and for your future. He wants to use this slow season to teach you, bless you, and strengthen your faith and trust in him.

So Be Still and know God is still working. He wants to bless you right now, in the middle of your waiting.

Edges and frames were layered into the design and lots of blending applied.
