Journaling: I am amazed how well my plants are doing in my new house! In my old house they died a slow horrible death no matter how hard I tried giving them the required light and attention they needed and that made me sad. I didnt buy plants to take home that I admired in the store because I knew they wouldnt make it.
Since Ive moved, they are out of intensive care and thriving! I cant believe how much theyve bushed out with new growth. I am encouraged to actually buy new plants and take in the joy of watching them grow. I just might try a Christmas Cactus again.

Notes: With solid paper 5 as the foundation and bringing in the fotoinspired masks, I clipped the photos to the masks. I duplicated a couple of the photos and with a layer mask brought out a leaf and duplicated and blended, afterwards adding a drop shadow to bring them out a little. A warm glow was clipped to the middle leaf. Mixed in with these layers are the fine edge frames.
Underneath I added the artsy transfer and to the top and bottom photo offset the artsy cards, placing word art transfers over them. A paper texture was placed underneath.
The journaling was brought in and a title created with the artsy paint underneath to it out a little more. Using the word label templates, I added the names of the plants. The threads were added. And just above the artsy transfers I added the art stroke and splatters. That finished the page.
